Notice to Quit

In civil process, a notice is a legal document that informs the recipient of a pending legal action. A Boston Constable or Boston Process Server can serve a variety of notices, including summons and complaint, Notice and Acknowledgement of Receipt, personal delivery signed acceptance of service, and taping the document to the recipient's door. In addition 7, 14 & 30 Notice to Quit are very commonly served. In all cases, the Boston Process Server or Boston Massachusetts Constable must fill out a proof of service detailing the time, place, method of delivery, and any additional information necessary to make the service valid. Civil processing also requires a notice to the defendant to appear before the court or subjecting the defendant or his property to the jurisdiction of the court.
